On a warm Indian summer Sunday afternoon in October, we stood shoulder-to-shoulder with fellow pro-lifers in Des Moines and with communities across America, sharing messages of compassion and faith during Life Chain Sunday. While a few responded with negative screams from passing cars that we couldn’t understand, we were encouraged by just as many smiles, waves, and honks with a thumbs-up out the window. All who publicly stand for life know the persecution. But that doesn’t matter because we are a voice for the voiceless. Thank you for your prayers; we were protected and truly felt their power!
