The eighth annual conference of Informed Choice Iowa was held on Saturday, October 24, 2026, in Ankeny at the FFA Enrichment Center. Iowa Right to Life was there with our resource table giving away the free 12-week baby models, magazines, bookmarks, brochures, etc. plus the Pro-Life petition to sign if they want to see a Life At Conception Law passed in Iowa. Paula and Kristi (who is now our best volunteer after working for IRTL as our Executive Director for five years) had great conversations with many of the 225+ conference attendees. It was good to see a few of our Iowa legislators in attendance. District 22 Representative Samantha Fett spent some time at our booth discussing life issues; she is a strong advocate for Life at the Iowa Capitol.
The decisions being made today can shape the choices our families have tomorrow. Whether it’s protecting Life from conception to natural death, informed consent, advocating for better laws, parental consent or simply having the knowledge to make confident decisions for your own family, being informed matters.
The Informed Conference was created to bring people together to learn, ask questions, connect with others and leave with tools they can actually use.
