The John Deere Classic and BIRDIES FOR CHARITY are raising money for local charities. You can help support ?the Iowa Right to Life Education Fund by making a pledge for the number of birdies that will be made at this year?s John Deere Classic PGA golf tournament on July 7-13th. Simply pledge one cent or more for every birdie you think will be made during the tournament. Last year, there were 2,142 birdies, so a one-cent donation would have amounted to $21.42 for the Iowa Right to Life Education Fund.
In addition to pledging, you have the opportunity to guess the number of birdies made. If you guess the correct number you could win a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze.
