SUMMARY:Iowa State Fair Parade
DESCRIPTION:Join Iowa Right to Life and be a joyful messenger for LIFE walking in the 2026 Iowa State Fair Parade  which will be broadcast statewide and livestreamed on iowapbs.org\, Facebook and YouTube on Wednesday\, August 12 at 6:15pm. With over 200 entries\, including high school marching bands\, floats\, cool cars\, dignitaries\, special causes (like Pro-LIFE !!) and more\, Iowa’s largest parade kicks off the 2026 fair theme celebrating America’s 250th anniversary for eleven fantastic days of fair fun August 13-23\, 2026. \n2026 Parade details:  Arrive at 6pm to staging Lot 19. Iowa Right to Life is entry #87.  Lot 19 is located on the east side of the Capitol building on East 12th Street between Walnut and Grand\, across the street from the Lucas building and close to the Liberty Bell monument.  Parade day contact: Paula Brown 515-556-6208.  Because parking is very limited around the Capitol complex\, the parade information recommends getting dropped off and/or parking at the end of the parade route and catching a ride back up to the Capitol complex area. \n
