Adel Sweet Corn Festival Parade

Join us for Dallas County’s largest parade! Calling all pro-life parade volunteers to join Iowa Right to Life and be a joyful messenger for LIFE at the Adel Sweet Corn Festival Parade Saturday, August 8th. There will be pro-life signs available to hold as you walk and candy to toss. Wear your pro-life or patriotic t-shirts if you have them. Bring your family, friends and church members and walk for LIFE and then enjoy the Sweet Corn Festival fun! Check out their FaceBook Event page. The parade officially starts at 9:30am. FREE Sweet Corn is the main attraction at the Sweet Corn Festival. Seven tons of sweet corn is purchased by the Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce. The sweet corn is shucked on Friday evening, stored in a refrigerated truck, then cooked and served by volunteers for you to enjoy! The Sweet Corn Festival offers fun for the whole family. While most activities take place around the courthouse square, more fun can be found at the Dallas County Fairgrounds. You can enjoy the:
