February 5, 2026: Iowa Right to Life values the opportunity to connect with pro-life Iowans, and we are encouraged each year by the great attendance at the annual Prayer Rally for Life at the Iowa State Capitol. We are always grateful to see many familiar faces and to meet new pro-life friends. The program included prayer, legislative updates, and personal testimonies. We are thankful for the importance Governor Kim Reynolds has placed on attending this event each year, and the amazing pro-life champion she has been. The most powerful testimony came from Briana, who courageously shared the trauma she experienced from the abortion pill, the deceptive ultrasound Planned Parenthood showed her to sway her decision, and the healing she later found through her relationship with Christ. Many Pregnancy Centers from around Iowa were present with their resource materials proving the pro-life community supports and cares for women and their unborn baby before, and well after, birth.
