What a powerful day we had on July 17 in Des Moines at the annual Family Leadership Summit.
At the Iowa Right to Life resource table we connected with pro-lifers and had great conversations with many that were in attendance. What a tremendous privilege to enjoy a little one-on-one time with Dr. Bill Lile, known nationwide as The Pro-Life Doc during the breakfast workshop.
Besides the powerful speaker lineup which included Speaker of the House Mike Johnson as keynote speaker, Pastor Lucas Miles, David Barton, Dr. Bill Lile, Governor Kim Reynolds, Republican Gubernatorial Candidate Zach Lahn, and many others. The theme message of the day was courage, conviction, and spiritual clarity which encouraged everyone to speak up and stand up for right.
The finale of the day was the unveiling of the largest glass American flag in the world. Fifteen feet tall. Twenty-eight feet wide. More than a thousand pounds of handcrafted custom blown glass. One hundred seventy individual panels. Genuine 24-karat gold. A Guinness World Record. Designed and created right here in Iowa by Logan Ryser of Hot Glass in Davenport. And it was unveiled in Iowa as a gift from the people of this state to our nation on the occasion of America’s 250th birthday.
Inscribed in gold on those red and gold stripes are Psalm 35 and 2 Chronicles 7:14. “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
Be encouraged and renewed in your faith and get the practical tools to educate friends and family for LIFE.
Vote Pro-Life in November!!!!
