Iowa Right to Life 2026 Candidate Questionnaire Responses
The following candidates responded to the Iowa Right to Life 2026 Candidate Questionnaire and indicated support for (1) additional pro-life laws, (2) Life at Conception legislation, and (3) laws to eliminate or limit dangerous chemical abortion pills.
Only candidates who responded affirmatively in all three areas are included in this guide — candidates meeting all three criteria are designated with an “A+” grade for this 2026 questionnaire.
The Iowa Right to Life 2026 Candidate Questionnaire was emailed to each campaign. If you are a candidate who missed our correspondence and would like to be included in this publication, please email the IRTL office at [email protected].
Please note: This is NOT an endorsement. Iowa Right to Life does not endorse or oppose candidates for public office through this publication. This voter guide is intended solely to educate voters regarding candidate positions on issues related to the protection of human life.
Participation in the questionnaire was voluntary, and only candidates who chose to respond were included. Candidates who did not complete the 2026 questionnaire were not evaluated or included in this publication.
Candidates were asked to respond to the following questions: (1) Would you stand firm to advance additional pro-life laws in our state that continue to protect moms, babies, and families? (2) Are you in favor of Life at Conception legislation that acknowledges all human beings are created equally and endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, the foremost of which is a right to life, beginning at conception? (3) Would you support legislation that eliminates or limits the use of chemical abortion?
Responses appear in order of office sought, with candidates listed alphabetically within each office.
Again, if you are a candidate who missed our correspondence and would like to be included in this publication, please email the IRTL office at [email protected].
