DES MOINES—April 8, 2009—After only a few years, the pro-life book sale broke a new record of $50,000. Not only was it a record sale, there was also an increase in new visitors who expressed their surprise to the number of books we had on display and the organization. They didn’t know that it would be so nice. 
 

We are happy to announce that our lower-priced books were all the rage in comparison to the abortion group’s books across town. 

 

The success of the book sale is a testament to the growing number of people who are realizing the need to promote life in a culture that has abortion at every turn.

 

We hope to encourage more people to utilize the pro-life book sale by donating their books to life and by shopping at the book sale which helps mothers and promotes pro-life education. Together we will make a difference as our donations go to the Iowa pregnancy centers.  

 

We want to give a heartfelt thank you to all of you that had book drives and all of you that bought books at the sale! We are already starting to plan the Big Book Drive, June 27-28. So get your books ready to donate. We have set our sights on beating the last record.

 

We are holding a state-wide book drive this June, so get ready to look for the flyers and information. Let your friends, family and church know. We will also have a main book drop right in the middle of town (location to be determined) with a semi truck to receive books. 

 

Feel free to drop off your books before the Big Book Drive at our office/warehouse located at 1500 Illinois Street, Des Moines. Be sure to call us when you arrive so we can open the receiving door in the back of the building for you.  Call 515.202.2517.
