Larry Disney - House District 67

Larry Disney is the Republican candidate for Iowa House District 67, which covers Pleasant Hill and much of the East and Southeast side of Des Moines.

Larry Disney is a solid, pro-life conservative. As a former legislator, he fought to promote human life and traditional Iowa values in the Iowa House and is ready to go to bat for Iowans again. Larry and his wife Debra grew up in Iowa and have lived in the district since he left active Naval Service in 1987.

Larry is a graduate of Southeast Polk High School and Iowa State University. He served his country as a Naval Flight Officer, flying the carrier-based S-3 Viking and P-3 Orion Maritime Patrol Aircraft. He retired as a Commander after 23 years of Naval Service. During his active service, he earned an MBA from the University of Southern Illinois.

Larry believes that government is too big, too intrusive and costs too much and he is opposed to increased taxes and government over-regulation.
