Planned Parenthood Supporters in Iowa

Download the latest Planned Parenthood Donors in Iowa List - Fiscal Year Ending June 2009

Planned Parenthood of Greater Iowa rakes in over $5 million a year from tax payers and over $3 million more from donors. They say it’s for education. They say they want to reduce the number of abortions. But every year, Planned Parenthood’s abortion business grows. Planned Parenthood of Greater Iowa did 4,401 abortions in their Fiscal Year ending in June 2008. That is up from 2,898 in 2002.

And it’s going to get bigger.  Planned Parenthood opened four new clinics in Iowa just this year in Ankeny, Monticello, Dubuque, and in Des Moines near Drake University. They are planning to offer walk-in, no appointment abortions with lethal RU 486 chemical abortions – where women take pills and abort at home. This method is more profitable for Planned Parenthood and more dangerous for women.

It’s time for some accountability.

These are just a few of the business owners and their related businesses that have contributed to Planned Parenthood over the last two years, driving up the abortion rate in Iowa and hurting women.

Many donors contribute to Planned Parenthood’s “education” efforts or “family planning programs.”  They are led to believe they are doing something good for the community. It is important to let them know:

• Planned Parenthood hurts women and children
• Planned Parenthood markets to children and circumvents parents
• Planned Parenthood protects sexual predators
• Planned Parenthood distributes medically inaccurate info

Please write to these people and businesses and urge them not to fund Planned Parenthood of Greater Iowa, because Planned Parenthood Hurts Communities!
