What is the Freedom of Choice Act?

The Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA) is a congressional bill introduced last year that would eliminate over 550 pro-life laws. It would permit tax funding of abortion and legalize abortion on demand for any reason through the 9th month of pregnancy in all 50 states.

Some of What FOCA Will Do:

• Repeal informed consent laws

• Repeal parental consent and notification laws

• Repeal the Ban on Partial Birth Abortion

• Nullify state conscience clauses which protect providers who decline to participate in abortions

We call on Congress to vote against the Freedom of Choice Act. It will increase the abortion rate dramatically in the United States and undermine the existing laws that protect women and the unborn.
