The primary purpose of Iowa Right to Life is to present factual information upon which individuals may make an informed decision about the various topics of fetal development, abortion, and alternatives to abortion, euthanasia, infanticide and prevention of cruelty to children. We encourage an understanding of the dignity and worth of each human life, whatever his or her state of circumstances and foster respect for human life before and after birth, particularly for the defenseless, the incompetent, the impaired and the incapacitated. We promote, encourage and sponsor amendatory and statutory measures which will provide protection and support accomplishment of those purposes for human life.
